This morning I opened my inbox and found an email from my Australian admirer waiting for me. Seems I might not be able to use the term admirer anymore which to be honest, is a bit of a relief.
His male pride seems to have been hurt. Things got pretty defensive in his email and suddenly he seems to contradict everything he has told me over the last few months. I have proof that states otherwise though.
Am not all that bothered about it. Usually I would be quite insulted by what he says/writes but not this time. I know I have not led him astray in any way or have made him believe that him and I were definetely going to get together the minute he gets of the plane in January 2006.
He seemed to be rather insulted by the fact that after the pictures of his sister's wedding finally made it to my inbox, the only thing I said was: The bridesmaids scare me. Now that wasn't the only thing I said and okay, so it wasn't the nicest of things, but it was true. The bridesmaids were big girls in awful purple dresses and I wouldn't want to stand next to them when the bouquet gets thrown at the end of the wedding celebrations.
What was he expecting? That I would take one look at his picture and declare my undying love for him? It doesn't work like that for me. It takes a bit more than a picture of him in a tuxedo....
But he has succeeded in making me look like a horrible person which really I am not. I just can't tell him what he wants to hear.
For some reason, he still wants to meet up with me though...
Should I perhaps bring a bodyguard?

Just hope he doesn't bring the Huge Bridesmaids Of Purpleness with him.
